Monod Anatomy, 2015
Tyler Cannon produced this print, a colour lithograph, during his Scholarship Residency at Malaspina Printmakers in 2014. The image illustrates the anatomy of the “monod”, a central character in a narrative series of prints called Singleton’s Epic, which Cannon began during his studies at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and continued to work on after he moved to Vancouver.
Tyler Cannon is a Vancouver-based visual artist. He holds a diploma in Fine Art from North Island College, and an Interdisciplinary BFA with a minor in Art History from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. After graduating from NSCAD, he came to Malaspina Printmakers for a Scholarship Residency in 2014.
